Bringing the best out of each horse and rider.
If you are looking for a prospect to give a future to, or build with a finished horse to learn to win, Heart S horses have what you are looking for!
A lot of what I do is getting the young horses their first start in life or getting them ready for a job. The big thing I want my colts to know is foundation. I tell others all the time mine come along "slower" because I want to be able to place my colts where I need them and have the body control before starting them on the pattern. In fact, I do a lot of ground poles and flat work with them first. I also show in stock horse shows and like to take my colts to shows to get their minds thinking and learning to lean on me when they are uncomfortable or confused. A big thing I fix is problem horses and 9 times out of 10 I am fixing things off the pattern with anxious horses, over thinking and wanting to just do it themselves and not knowing how to handle help from the rider. By giving my colts that understanding at a young age, they will look to me when problems arise and don't mind when I need to help them through an issue.
Its another year heading off to the BBR finals in OKC! Its been a full year this time of getting prepared and ready versus last year having 6 weeks with Monroe. A lot of ups and downs have happened with getting Monroe trained and more solid on the barrels and just riding right in 2024. She has come a long way in a short time and excited to see how she does this year compared to last! Rebel is coming along great as well and his futurity season he will be getting ready for the ride to BBR as well. A lot can change in that time but being consistent and building these young horses up to succeed is always the end goal. See y'all there!
